Justin's journey in the field of healthcare began with his undergraduate studies at Wilkes University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Neuroscience. He continued his education at Touro University, where he obtained both a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences.
Throughout his career, Justin has accumulated valuable experience in various medical specialties. He spent a significant portion of his time in Trauma Surgery at both Good Samaritan University Hospital, a Level 1 Trauma Center, and previously at South Shore University Hospital. He continues to operate in Thoracic Surgery within Catholic Health. Additionally, Justin has several years of experience in multiple surgical subspecialties, including Vascular Surgery, Plastics, Colorectal, Bariatrics, and ENT. His extensive background in surgery has equipped him with a diverse skill set and a deep understanding of patient care.
Outside of his professional responsibilities, Justin enjoys pursuing several hobbies, including working out, boating, and surfing. These activities provide him with relaxation and balance in his life. One of the aspects Justin enjoys most about being a healthcare provider at Coastal MD is the opportunity to practice medicine with a human touch. He values the personal connection with patients and finds it rewarding to witness their journey toward better health and achieving their goals.
Justin's inspiration to pursue a profession focused on helping others improve their well-being stems from his appreciation of the profound impact healthcare providers can have on people's lives. While a significant part of his career involved caring for traumatically injured patients, practicing at Coastal MD has allowed him to work on the other end of the spectrum. Introducing, Nicole Polimeni, the Vice President and Director of Compliance & New Technologies of Coastal MD, a dedicated healthcare professional with a strong commitment to patient well-being and a diverse background. Nicole's educational journey took her to Stony Brook University for her undergraduate studies, where she honed her academic foundation. She furthered her education at the New York Institute of Technology, where she completed her Physician Assistant studies.
While Nicole's primary focus is her role at Coastal MD, her passion for helping others extends beyond the workplace. Throughout her life, she has dedicated herself to compassionate service, whether through fundraising events, medical missions, or simply being there to lend a listening ear. One of her most cherished job opportunities occurred during her time in PA school when she served as a horseback riding instructor for children and adults with special needs, as well as an instructor for Special Olympics. These experiences further ignited her passion for assisting others.
After completing her education, Nicole specialized in Surgical ICU, Thoracic Surgery, and Dermatology. However, her true calling was in the vision she shared with Justin, the President and CEO of Coastal MD, to "do more," "reach more," and "help more." This vision led to the creation of Coastal MD, which Nicole considers her most significant career accomplishment. Coastal MD's focus on an integrative medical approach aligns with her belief in a more encompassing and personalized approach to healthcare, which she believes is essential in the future of medicine. She takes pride in the role Coastal MD plays in restoring vitality and helping patients achieve their health goals, regardless of their size or complexity. Outside of her professional life, Nicole's lifelong passion is horseback riding. She began riding at a young age and has maintained a deep connection with horses throughout her life. She is the proud owner of two horses, one for over 20 years and the other for over 10 years, who hold a special place in her heart alongside her family.
Nicole's favorite work-related accomplishment is being part of the creation of Coastal MD, where patient-centric medicine and individualized care take center stage. Witnessing patients succeed in their health goals is a gratifying experience for her, and she values being a part of their journeys. To unwind after a busy day, Nicole prioritizes health and wellness. She enjoys taking long walks with her family, including their dog, Hank, to enjoy the outdoors and reset. Preparing a delicious and healthy meal together is also an important part of her unwinding routine. Nicole recognizes the importance of making these activities realistic within a busy schedule and finds that they provide a meaningful way for her family to unwind and bond.
Beyond her role at Coastal MD, Nicole practices personal wellness by finding an outlet that she loves, in her case, horseback riding. This activity allows her to reset her mind and prioritize self-care. She also emphasizes the importance of organizing and prioritizing her daily agenda, as well as dedicating quality family time to her loved ones. Nicole believes that maintaining a healthy work-life balance and nurturing family relationships are essential components of well-being. Pamella Grillo, PA-C
Let me introduce you to Pamella Grillo, a dedicated healthcare professional with a significant role in pulmonary and sleep medicine and at Coastal MD. Pamella's educational journey took her to Wagner College, where she completed both her undergraduate studies and PA school, laying the foundation for her career in healthcare. In her full-time role as a pulmonary and sleep medicine PA, Pamella's daily responsibilities include rounding on patients at St. Catherine's Hospital and providing care to patients at the CHS outpatient office. She follows this routine diligently from Monday to Friday and also dedicates some of her Saturdays to her role at Coastal MD.
Pamella's career path led her to the world of pulmonary and sleep medicine, and her valuable experience working closely with thoracic surgery under the guidance of Dr. Brevitti, Justin, and Nicole played a significant role in her journey. Prior to joining Coastal MD, she completed her training in pulmonary and sleep medicine and also engages in critical care work at St. Catherine's ICU/CCU. Outside of her professional life, Pamella enjoys pursuing her passion for cooking. She and her husband share their culinary creations on a food Instagram account, where they delight their followers with delicious recipes. Additionally, she finds relaxation in walking her dog and cherishing quality time at home with friends and family.

She relishes the welcoming and positive environment, where professionals continuously strive to be the best versions of themselves. But Angelica's thirst for knowledge didn't stop there. Eager to delve into the realm of clinical care, she embarked on a journey that would take her from the fast-paced world of emergency medicine as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to the nurturing environment of pediatrics. Along the way, she discovered her passion for dermatology, where she became enamored with the art of aesthetics and skincare. However, it was during the dark days of the pandemic that Angelica's true calling emerged. Volunteering at Mercy Medical Center's hospice inpatient unit, she witnessed firsthand the profound impact that compassionate care can have on patients and their families during life's most challenging moments. It was here that Angelica's path crystalized, leading her to pursue a career as a PA—a role that would allow her to blend her clinical skills with her innate desire to heal.
After completing her PA education at Mercy University, Angelica set her sights on Coastal MD, drawn by its commitment to patient vitality and holistic wellness. Outside of work, Angelica finds solace in nature, often venturing into the great outdoors to hike and reconnect with the world around her. Natalia Sroga, PA-C
Natalia Sroga is a dedicated Physician Assistant at Coastal MD, bringing a wealth of experience and a passion for patient care to her role. Natalia's journey into the medical field began at Wagner College, where she completed an accelerated five-year program, earning both her undergraduate and PA degrees.
Natalia's career has been marked by significant achievements and diverse experiences. For the past five years, she has worked as an Orthopedic PA at Riverside Orthopedics in Manhattan, NY, specializing in Joint Reconstructive Surgery. Additionally, she serves as an Aesthetic Injector at one of the top MedSpas in NYC. Her ability to help patients feel their best, both physically and aesthetically, has been a cornerstone of her practice. One of her proudest moments was receiving the Ambulatory PA of the Year award, a testament to her clinical excellence, professionalism, and dedication to patient care.
Outside of her professional life, Natalia is an avid athlete who enjoys a variety of physical activities, including running, swimming, and lifting. Having played sports her entire life, she understands the importance of being a team player and maintains a competitive spirit. Her passion for health and wellness extends into her personal time, where she engages in activities that enhance her physical and mental well-being.
Natalia is an enthusiastic reader and recommends the book "Forever Strong" by Gabrielle Lyon to her patients. The book delves into the significance of muscle health and its impact on metabolism, strength, mental health, longevity, and chronic disease prevention. She also enjoys "The Blonde Files" podcast by Arielle Lorre, which features experts on health, wellness, beauty, and cosmetic procedures.
Natalia's motivation to help others stems from her selfless nature, which she has nurtured since childhood. She believes in the mantra "Look good, feel good" and strives to instill this confidence in her patients. Her holistic approach to health emphasizes the importance of self-care alongside traditional health practices, helping patients prioritize themselves to become dominant forces in their own lives.

Jessica Calderon, PA-C
A healthcare professional who brings both heart and expertise to everything she does, Jessica earned her degree from the Touro College Physician Assistant Program, but her real education came from the front lines—working as a Certified Nursing Assistant during the COVID-19 pandemic and later spending several years in plastic and reconstructive surgery.
There, she cared for breast cancer patients through their entire reconstructive journey and assisted with a wide range of cosmetic procedures. These experiences taught her that truly effective healthcare isn't just about treating symptoms—it's about supporting patients through every phase of healing and helping them build sustainable, healthy lives.
Outside of work, you'll find Jessica hiking, traveling to new places, or practicing violin—an instrument she's been playing for over 15 years and has even competed with at the state level. She's especially drawn to the emotional depth of composers like Tchaikovsky, Bach, and Mendelssohn.
What she loves most about being part of Coastal MD™ is the collaborative, team-based environment where providers genuinely support one another and patients receive truly holistic care. For Jessica, building lasting relationships with patients and guiding them through their health journey is what makes this work so fulfilling.
Jessica's inspiration to pursue medicine comes from watching her grandparents navigate multiple health challenges throughout their lives—and from her grandfather, who served as a medic in the Army. She's passionate about medicine because it's constantly evolving, and she believes the future of healthcare lies in thinking creatively, preventing illness before it starts, and guiding patients toward long-term vitality.
